Christine Lemin - Artist Profile

Christine Lemin

In 2016 after resigning from a busy social work/counseling position in Hawkes Bay to become an artist & art instructor. Prior to this nursing at the Napier Hospital was my profession.
Using art as a therapeutic tool for clients for many years, reinforced my convictions that art truly enables a healing process when guided.

The highlight of my days now is spending time with grandchildren and creating art with colour. Colour is uplifting, healing and joyful – it’s what makes my art and my heart sing. Mother Nature’s colours are what inspire my painting sessions.

Soon after Ieaving my job, my brother, Ian Dodds, and I, had a ‘double launch.’ He launched his novel “Soldier’s Son’” and I launched my art business. As a qualified Art School (Australia) instructor and artist I witness amazing changes in my students. Their art work blossoms as they themselves do. Classes are popular and are kept small.
Teaching from my Napier Home Studio, fun, focus, enjoyment & satisfaction result in lovely art pieces and a calming process..
Using right sided brain activity students leave feeling refreshed and revitalised.
2022 is in full swing now with both art classes creating beautiful paintings.
Recently i ran an Intuitive workshop where students went ‘within’ and paInted from their heart centre. Check out the student art on fb christine Lemin Art
